Moab, Utah

Moab is a small but busy town on the Colorado River in the heart of Utah’s red rock canyon country. Moab is best known as a base for mountain biking, canyoneering, and off road vehicle touring. Spring is high season so early reservations for camping or hotels are recommended. Camping on the public lands immediately around Moab is restricted to designated sites that tend to fill early in the day.

Course Sites: Big Bend Group Site C, 8 miles east of Moab on Rt 128.

Travel: Moab is accessible via highway 191 south from I-70 eastbound from Green River, or route 6-BR to route 128 westbound from Grand Junction. From the south, look for 191 north from Monticello.
